Pontoon Review 43k3n

Pontoon is a table game similar to the game of blackjack. While often confused as being the same game, the rules in Pontoon are quite different, resulting in different payouts and requiring the player to use different strategies. 5n5e1q

The game display is a standard green Pontoon table, which looks almost exactly like a typical blackjack table. On the lower left-hand side, the player will find the following chip denominations: 0.25, 1, 5, 10, 25 and 100. The table's specific betting limits are determined by the online casino operator on a table-by-table basis. To place a bet, players can click on the chip(s) indicators to set their bet for each hand. If they so choose, there are re-bet and re-bet/deal buttons that they can be used to substitute in the same betting amount from the previous hand.

The game starts with the player and the dealer both being dealt two cards per hand. In Pontoon, both of the dealer's cards are dealt face down, which makes the game substantially different than blackjack. The player is required to keep hitting their hand until they reach 15 or more. At all times, the dealer stops on 17 or more, but must hit on a soft 17. After each card is dealt, the player has the option to hit, stand, split like cards or double down, which requires the doubling of their bet. The goal for the player is to get as close to 21 as possible without going over and beat the dealer's hand in the process. A natural two-card 21 is called a Pontoon. The dealer wins all pushes except on Pontoon for which the player is paid 2:1. Players can also earn a 2:1 payout for collecting five cards without going over 21.

The Pontoon table is rendered with nice and comfortable graphics with five spots, which allows players to play multiple hands at the same time. The audio soundtrack is outstanding, it creates a captivating gaming atmosphere with authentic sounds of chips clicking and cards being dealt by the dealer announcing the results.

Verdict: While some rules of Pontoon are similar to those used in blackjack, players are cautioned to note the differences. This game is played at a very nice pace, which keeps the game moving and players from getting bored. The visual and audio features are above average, which helps to create a realistic game playing experience.
